Private Yoga Sessions
Traditionally yoga has been transmitted individually from the teacher directly to the student. I follow this traditional model by offering private yoga sessions tailored to your personal needs. A private yoga session is a collaboration between the teacher and the student to explore one’s condition and develop a practice specifically tailored to an individual’s needs and goals.
During the first session we discuss your personal goals, talk about challenges that you face and go through simple movements to explore how you respond to yoga practices. Your first consultation is an opportunity for you to decide if this particular approach is appropriate to you.
If you decide to continue, in the consequent sessions we set realistic goals for our work together, then select and adapt yoga postures and breathing techniques for your body. Personal practices are designed and sequenced in a specific way to help you feel better physically, energetically and mentally. I make sure that you are comfortable with your practice and can continue to do it on your own safely and effectively.

FAQ’s for Private Yoga sessions
- What to expect from a private Yoga session: I am happy working in a level 1 BASICS session where we start from the beginning with all aspects of Yoga: pranayama breathing, alignment and spiritual and physical beginnings that can help you be prepared for a Yoga class. I am also happy to work with the intermediate Yogi who wants to learn or achieve new alignment, strength and postures in their practice.
- What do I need to bring? You can bring your own Yoga mat or use one that I provide. Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in.
- How long are the sessions? Private Yoga sessions are 1 hour. Semi private (2 people) are 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- How long will it take for me to improve? Everybody is different…those who combine Rolfing sessions with Yoga sessions experience much faster and satisfying results in most areas.
