By working on the fascial sheath that covers the nerve fibers, much of the associated pain, discomfort and restricted movement can be relieved. In this way, Neuro-Fascial Integration is Rolfing on a microscopic level. Neuro-Fascial Integration helps alleviate side effects of inflamed nerves (tendonitis). By helping the nerves to regain their ability to stretch and glide, Neuro-Fascial Integration ultimately helps the body to move, bend and stretch without pain. I incorporate Neuro-Fascial Integration into my Rolfing sessions as needed. It has proven to be extremely successful in relieving tendonitis in the elbow, wrist (carpal tunnel syndrome), shoulder, hip and knee as well as helping plantar fascitis conditions and low back pain |
